Even in the past it was said: "Everyone praises what Nürburgring tests". Now, too, the world-famous Eifel race track was once again the "fastest test laboratory in the world". Two teams entered the 1000km race with a high-performance fuel "E20" - bio-fuel from CropEnergies and Mabanaft.
From 1953 to 1983 - in other words, for 30 years - the race on the overall circuit made motorsport history. This is where many of the unforgettable pictures were taken, where there were insane fights for positions, tragedies, and radiant winners.
