But now something even more exciting is in store for the participants and spectators: The "Touring Car Golden Era" will be held on the entire circuit including the famous Nordschleife, and in the VLN version with an impressive track length of 23.870 km. This race promises to be a unique and unforgettable experience.
A sufficiently large starting field as a prerequisite for a separate starting group
The organiser of the ADAC 1000 km Race 2023 has made a groundbreaking decision. If there are enough entries, a separate starting group will be formed for the Touring Car Golden Era. The participants will then have the opportunity to contest a race over three laps, which corresponds to a total distance of an incredible 71.610 km. This separate race will of course also be scored and honoured separately.
The entry fee is €980 and includes a pit space and a special ADAC 1000km / Touring Car Golden era jacket.
Touring car teams who would also like to run the 1000km race in its entirety will not have to decide between participating in the endurance classic or the Touring Car Golden Era race. Instead, they can register for both races at a small additional cost of €120.00.

If a participant is not in possession of the Nordschleife Permit C, a permit course will be offered on Friday, 15.09.2023, after which he will be entitled to start.
