Great times: Prototypes and racing cars on the track

The 1000-km races on legendary circuits such as the Nürburgring, Le Mans, Spa-Francorchamps and Monza were highlights of motorsport in the 1960s and 1970s. We will use the winter months to bring the racing cars and prototypes back to the track for the 1000-km race in 2025.

If you want to experience real historic motorsport, there's no getting round the 1000km race. The race takes place on the Nürburgring and the Nordschleife - where man and machine are pushed to the limit. Tickets are available now!

70 years of 1000km race

Since its origin in 1953, the 1000 km race at the Nürburgring has developed into one of the most legendary endurance classics. The 70th anniversary will be celebrated on 15-17 September 2023.

Next 1000KM race from 16. to 18.09.2022

Save the date for 2022! Following a successful premiere for the legendary revival on the Nordschleife and Grand Prix circuit, the endurance classic will be back on the starting line in 2022. After restrictions in 2021, national and international teams are expected to return to the legendary Nürburgring circuit.
