Not only the visitors on site, but also the press and motorsport portals have covered this year's edition of the endurance classic with favourable reports and comments. Many drivers and teams have already announced their intention to take part again next year.
Such feedback naturally makes it easy for the organisers around Henning Meyersrenken to announce the date of next year's ADAC 1000km race:
Save the Date: 1000km Nürburgring 2025 from 19-21 September
With the 19th-21st of September 2025, we will therefore once again be relying on a late summer weekend. Again with sunny and warm days that are not typical for the Eifel.
Press reviews:
"The ADAC 1,000 kilometre race at the Nürburgring is a cult event. For more than seventy years, the races have been considered one of the greatest challenges for man and machine."
writes the SWR and has covered the event with a TV report.
"Motorsport: The 1000 kilometres on the Nürburgring offer the best entertainment. The pithy sound of air-cooled boxer engines dominated the endurance classic par excellence on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The 71st edition of the 1000-kilometre race, which was revitalised in its original form only three years ago after much confusion and several "token performances" of this name on the Grand Prix circuit, was firmly in the hands of Porsche in glorious late summer weather one day before the official start of autumn."
writes the Rheinzeitung
"The ADAC 1000-km race is an attempt not to forget the fans and visitors of the races "from the good old days". It's just like it used to be: sport, fun and excitement! - As a spectator, you go home satisfied at the end of the race day."
