After a successful premiere for the legendary revival over the Nordschleife and Grand Prix circuit, the long-distance classic will once again take to the grid in 2022. National and international teams are then again expected on the entire circuit of the legendary Nürburgring - after restrictions in 2021.
Long-distance classic on the overall route
Almost 7 hours of racing - up to four drivers per participant vehicle - pit teams, gridwalk, open paddocks and some exciting fringe racing and demo runs will then once again ensure a stylish and authentic return to the "Green Hell" and a diverse program.
Registration for the 2022 race will be open to all teams from mid-November 2021 and will offer "early bird" discounts.

In 2021, almost all teams without exception have shown great enthusiasm after the re-run of the old 1953-1984 races and have been extremely convinced and positive to re-register for next year. Many teams that could not start in 2021 have already confirmed the start for 2022.
The positive mood and enthusiasm in 2021 are fertile ground for a further growing starting field next year.
