Legendary vehicles and genuine motorsport spirit return to the Nordschleife: as part of the ADAC 1000km 2026, a pure touring car race for vehicles from 1962 to 1975 will be held again for the first time – as a tribute to one of the most spectacular eras in motorsport.
For organisational reasons, the originally planned 1000 km final of the DHLM 2026 has been adjusted. As one race of the season in July has been cancelled, races 3 and 4 will be held as a double-header as part of the ADAC 1000 km race weekend – each as a 3-hour race.
It's official: sports prototypes and Group 5 legends are celebrating their big comeback on the Nordschleife – with the full support of Solitude GmbH. Historic rarities will finally be back on the starting line at the 2025 ADAC 1000 km race.
On Saturday, 20 September 2025, a unique race featuring historic prototypes, racing cars and vehicles from the CanAm and Interserie series will take place on the Nordschleife. These vehicles have not been on the track here for years.
The ADAC 1000km entry portal is now open. So it's time to pull out your calendar and register for the highlight of the season on 19-21 September 2025.

The "Touring Car Golden Era" will be held on the entire circuit, including the Nordschleife, if there are enough entries. This race promises to be a unique and unforgettable experience for participants and spectators.
