When the tradition of endurance racing meets modernity, a special experience is created: on the legendary combination of the Nordschleife and the Grand Prix circuit of the Nürburgring, the ADAC 1,000KM race has been challenging man and machine since 1953. Over 40 laps and more than 26 kilometres, motorsport history comes to life here. As part of this event steeped in tradition, the Audi Club International Deutschland e.V. creates a platform that brings together drivers and owners of vehicles from the AUDI family - from current sports cars to classic automobiles.
Motorsport history meets brand culture
The programme is divided into two slots, which bring different eras and models onto the track. Modern vehicles from model year 2001 onwards, including the RS3, S4, TT, R8, e-tron GT and the popular Q models, will start on Sunday morning. Historic cars built up to 2000, such as Quattro icons, rare DKW F12s or representative Horch models, will follow at midday and show just how diverse the history of the Audi, DKW, NSU, Horch, Wanderer and Auto Union brands is.
Discounted participation for members of the Audi Club International
Participants enjoy exclusive free driving on the Grand Prix circuit and benefit from a discounted rate for ACI members. The price includes catering including drinks, a weekend pass for the driver and access to the paddock, all grandstands and special races. The weekend also offers numerous highlights, including appearances by legendary Le Mans cars, touring cars from the golden era and regularity races.
There is the option of registering co-drivers or other accompanying persons, who also benefit from catering and access to all areas. Drivers and co-drivers are required to wear helmets and must be at least 18 and 12 years old respectively. Vehicles with regular licence plates and a valid driving licence are permitted. Further information on registration and additional Old- and Youngtimer Experience runs or Track Masters regularity tests can be found in the participation area.
