ADAC 1000 km Weekend 2026: The starting grids

This coming weekend, the full Nürburgring circuit will once again be the scene of a historic event: more than 130 teams will compete at the 2026 ADAC 1000km race weekend. The entry lists for the races in the German Historic Endurance Championship (DHLM) and for the Golden Era Touring Cars are now available online.

Two three-hour races over the entire Nürburgring

The German Historic Endurance Championship is the sporting highlight of the weekend. With Race 3 on Saturday 19 September and the season finale on Sunday 20 September, the programme features two three-hour races on the combined Grand Prix circuit and Nordschleife. Following the first races of the season, the Nürburgring will be the venue where the first championship titles of the new racing series will be decided.

The Golden Age of Touring Cars, with its own race

The legendary touring cars from the DTM, DRM, STW and WTCC will also be returning to the full circuit. In 2026, the ‘Golden Era’ touring cars will contest a separate three-lap race for the first time. This means that, alongside the two DHLM races, the ADAC 1000km race weekend will feature a further race featuring historic touring cars from various eras of motorsport.

Tickets for the 1000km race

On Saturday and Sunday, visitors can follow the action not only from the grandstands and the paddock. Ahead of the DHLM and Golden Era Touring Car races, grid walks offer a front-row view of the cars and teams on the starting grid.

The ADAC 1000km race weekend will take place on 19 and 20 September 2026 on the full Nürburgring circuit.
