Whether it was DRM Revival, STW Revival or Golden Era – anyone who loved touring cars got their money's worth on the first weekend in August at the Oldtimer Grand Prix on the Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit. After a guest appearance at Spa at the end of August, a special appearance by the racing series is planned as part of the ADAC 1000km Nürburgring from 19 to 21 September 2025. Now an integral part of the event, the starters of the Golden Era touring cars will take to the legendary Nordschleife for three laps as a "race within a race".

From the BMW E30 M3 to the Ford Sierra Cosworth: 50 starters bring back the golden days.
A particularly emotional highlight of the Touring Car Golden Era is the unique combination of historic vehicles, fearless drivers and the thrill of the Nordschleife. In 2025, around 50 starters will be on the grid with cult models such as the Mercedes 190 E Evo, BMW E30 M3, Ford Sierra Cosworth, Volvo 850, Opel Kadett and Ford Escort.

Racing fever over 23.870 kilometres – The "Touring Car Golden Era" as a thrilling race within a race over the entire distance
For the third time, participants and spectators can look forward to an exciting addition to the long-distance classic: the race for the "Touring Car Golden Era" series will be held on the entire track, including the famous Nordschleife, in the VLN variant with an impressive track length of 23.870 km. A race that once again promises a unique and unforgettable experience.

Historic racing cars in top form – authentic touring cars return to the "Green Hell".
The special fascination stems from the fact that these authentic touring cars – once part of factory teams and the DTM era – are now lovingly maintained by collectors and brought back onto the track as faithful replicas of the original racing cars. The return to the legendary Nordschleife makes this experience a historic reunion with the "Green Hell", where both man and machine are put to the test.
