Challenging historical long-distance motor racing

Thrilling racing action, authentic motorsport and a tribute to the golden age of endurance racing – right in the heart of the Green Hell. That's what the German Historic Endurance Championship, which will start its inaugural season in 2026, stands for.

Over 130 teams are expected to take part when the ADAC 1000 km race weekend gets underway on the combined circuit comprising the Grand Prix circuit and the Nordschleife.

Round 3 of the racing series takes place on Saturday 19 September. Round 4 on Sunday also marks the season finale.

For the first time, the "Golden Era Touring Cars" will start in a separate race over the entire Nürburgring circuit, rounding off an entertaining and action-packed motorsport weekend.

Be there!

Please note: The ‘Touring Car Grand Prix’, originally scheduled for this year as a further three-hour endurance race featuring a wide variety of racing cars from the period 1965 to 1976, will now make its debut in 2027 due to scheduling constraints.
