They left their mark on entire generations of motorsport fans: legendary touring cars from DTM, DRM, STW and WTCC. At the ADAC 1000km race weekend on 19 and 20 September 2026, the cars from the Golden Era of Touring Cars will return to the full Nürburgring circuit.
A race of their own for the touring car legends
The historic racing cars will take part in their own race on a combination of the Grand Prix circuit and the Nordschleife. On this legendary circuit, motoring history and the true thrill of racing come together – with cars that once defined Europe’s major touring car series.
DHLM season finale as the second motorsport highlight
Alongside the Golden Era touring car race, the German Historic Endurance Championship (DHLM) forms the sporting highlight of the weekend. The new championship will round off its inaugural season with two three-hour races on the full circuit.

Clubs and brands come together at the Ring
There is plenty to discover away from the racetrack too: at the ACI Germany Club Meet, the Porsche Transaxle meet and the Annual Meeting of the 1 Series M Register, numerous brand and motorsport enthusiasts gather around the Nürburgring.
From historic touring cars to modern classics: on 19 and 20 September, the full Nürburgring circuit will become a meeting place for fans of legendary motorsport history.
