Even in the past it was said: "Everyone praises what Nürburgring tests". Now, too, the world-famous Eifel race track was once again the "fastest test laboratory in the world". Two teams entered the 1000km race with a high-performance fuel "E20" - bio-fuel from CropEnergies and Mabanaft.
From 1953 to 1983 - in other words, for 30 years - the race on the overall circuit made motorsport history. This is where many of the unforgettable pictures were taken, where there were insane fights for positions, tragedies, and radiant winners.
Together with Motor Klassik from Stuttgart and auto motor und sport, the organizers of the 1000km race will honor the best gentleman driver in each of the starting fields on Friday and Saturday with very special trophies.
Premiere in the historic endurance race: The "Green Mobility Future" Institute for Alternative Fuels will be using bio-fuel as a high-performance fuel for several race teams and orga vehicles in the ADAC 1000km race in 2021.

The lists of all participating teams have now been completed, as far as the race office can report. Almost 100 teams will be taking to the track in the Revival Sprint on Friday and the 1000km race on Saturday.
Am Freitag, den 17.09. werden die 1000km historisch authentisch. Mit vielen Teilnehmern der Rennserie „Dunlop Gentle Drivers Trophy ’65“ gehen Fahrzeuge an den Start, die man stark mit den Anfangsjahren des 1000-km-Rennen verbindet.
